Around the District

On the afternoon of June 13, 2022, a Service of Praise and Thanksgiving in the Closure of The Lutheran Center was held.

Spirit-filled gatherings included performing the Rite of Installation for the District President Rev. Dr. Allan Buss by Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

Approval of the relocation of the District’s office currently located in Hillside, Illinois

Good Shepherd Christian Academy, Chicago has created a welcoming entrance to their school with grant money received from the NID.

Grant proposals for the NID’s Mission Target Grant are now being accepted.
