They serve as pastors, teachers, principals, deaconesses, directors of Christian education, youth workers, directors of family life, parish nurses, ministers of music and the like in our congregations, schools and charitable/human care ministries. Loris Walter Rather, 82, passed away peacefully in Waukesha, Wisconsin surrounded by loving family members on May 10, 2018.

President-elect Buss to Receive Honorary Doctor of Divinity

This weekend, President-elect Rev. Allan Buss will be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity during Concordia University Wisconsin’s commencement exercise. The ceremony will be live-streamed by CUW.

Elmer H. Becker – Called to Glory

Elmer H. Becker died on May 9, 2018 in Weston, Wisconsin at the age of 97.

Raymond Leon Schilling – Called to Glory

Raymond Leon Schilling died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on May 5, 2018. He was 85 years of age.
