The LCMS Northern Illinois District has about a thousand ordained and commissioned church workers that are rostered by The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. They serve as pastors, teachers, principals, deaconesses, directors of Christian education, youth workers, directors of family life, parish nurses, ministers of music and the like in our congregations, schools and charitable/human care ministries.
