In recent years, LCMS Northern Illinois District church leaders and their members have been invited to gather in fellowship to hear about developments in local mission and learn how they can support it. This year’s New Starts…New Believers benefit dinner is on Sunday, November 12, at the Marriott Hotel, 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway, in Burr Ridge, Illinois, and you are invited.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with a cash bar, and the meal and program begin at 5:30. This has been an inspirational evening for the hundreds who have attended. They leave with the big picture of what the church is called by its Lord and Savior Jesus to do and be, and a sampling of what churches across the district are doing to reach into and serve their communities.
