Loving husband, father and grandfather, John F. Reuter joyfully entered into the glory and beauty of Heaven November 26, 2018 at age 86.
John served as principal, teacher, organist, and music director at Tabor Lutheran Church and School & Our Savior Lutheran church in Norwood Park.
He and his wife, Marlene, were member of Trinity Luthern Church, Lisle, Illinois listening to Lutheran services on radio as well as Worship Anew.
John was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in September 1963. He was blessed with perseverance and faith, which kept him going when any small physical problem caused MS to weaken him. Physical therapists, and the cheering section that were his children and grandchildren would bring him back.
He loved to teach, to play organ, to direct choirs, to be part of the congregation including Bible studies.
Counting on meeting his Lord and his Savior, and all who went before him.
A memorial service will be held on April 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle.
