On June 26, 2022 Rev. Zachary Patterson was installed as Sole Pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cary, Illinois.

Pastor Patterson comes to the LCMS Northern Illinois District from the LCMS Northwest District where he served at Faith Lutheran Church in The Dalles, Oregon.

Pastor Patterson graduated from Concordia University Texas in 2015 and received his MDiv from Concordia Theological Seminary Ft. Wayne in 2019. He married Emma in 2014 and they have three children.
