On July 13, 2025, Reverend Thomas Gibbons was installed as SMP Assistant Pastor at Trinity Lutheran
Church in Roselle, Illinois.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in Stevenspoint, Wisconsin, He completed his SMP (Specific Ministry Pastor) training at Concordia Seminary in St, Louis, Missouri in 2012.
He previous served at Trinity Lutheran in Roselle, Illinois as an SMP Assistant Pastor from 2011-2015 and at as an SMP Associate Pastor at St. Paul Lutheran in Chicago, Illinois from 2015-2017. He has been on Emeritus status since 2018.
He and his wife, Carol, have been married since 1971 and have four grown children.
