Rev. Paul Brunner, 83, was called to glory on Tuesday, March 21. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 3-8 p.m., at the Schoeder-Lauer Funeral Home at 3227 Ridge Road in Lansing, Illinois.

He graduated from Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1955, and from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1960. He served his vicarage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dolton, Illinois, in 1960. He was ordained and served at Trinity and Zion Lutheran Churches in Philips and Kennan, Wisconsin, 1960-1962; at St. John Lutheran Church in Burlington, Illinois, 1962-1977; at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Gilberts, Illinois, 1971-1977; at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, Illinois, 1977-1987; and at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tinley Park since 1989.

Pastor Brunner was a resident of South Holland, Illinois, at the time of his death. He was married to Eunice, who preceded him in death. A son Timothy along with family and friends survive him.
