“The past nine years in Lincoln have been a time of great joy in serving as an under-shepherd of God’s flock at Redeemer. Word and Sacrament ministry at Redeemer has been colored with overseas group travel, educational group trips in the U.S., community involvement and partnerships, service in the District, and, most wonderfully of all, a loving church family” – Pastor Brown.

“Though there is sadness in leaving Redeemer, it is tempered by the love I have already experienced from my St. Matthew Church family, the overwhelming conviction that this Divine Call is God’s will, and my excitement for the challenges and joys that lie before us as a family of faith in the Barrington
community, living out the cross and tomb love we have been baptized into in Jesus Christ!”

Please welcome and pray for Rev. Brown in his new call as pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
