Rev. Kevin Ader was installed as Senior Pastor at St. John Lutheran Church, Elgin, Illinois, on February 6, 2022. It was a wonderful service with a great message from LCMS Northern Illinois President Allan R. Buss.
Pastor Ader transferred from the North Wisconsin District where he last served the congregation of St. John Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Prior to that he held calls at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bergland, Michigan, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Bessemer, Michigan, St. John Lutheran Church, Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and St. Paul Lutheran Churches in Kulm and Monango, North Dakota.
He received his MDiv from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1991 and his undergraduate at Concordia College, Wisconsin in 1987.
