Reverend James May was installed as associate pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookfield, Illinois on March 22, 2026.
Rev. May received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2000. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 2006.
His previous calls include the LCMS Board for Mission Service, Lutheran Heritage Foundation, and as Director of Lutheran in Africa.
He and his wife, Tiina, have been married since 1999, and they have six children.
