On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Reverend Jacob Shepard was ordained and installed as pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Chebanse, Illinois

He recently received a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

We welcome Rev. Shepard and his wife, Marizza, to his new call in the LCMS Northern Illinois District!
