On July 20, 2025, Reverend David Szeto was installed as pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Westmont, Illinois.
Pastor Szeto received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Buffalo – SUNY in Buffalo, New York in 2000. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri in 2006. He has previously served congregations in New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
He and his wife, Frances, have been married since 2004 and they have three children. We welcome Rev. Szeto and his family to his new call in the LCMS Northern Illinois District!
