In attendance at the service, pictured above from left to right, were Rev. Ray Rohlfs, Rev. Hesham Shehab, Rev. Dr. Mark Birkholz, Rev. Steven Andreson (East Region Vice President and officiant), Rev. Matthew Zickler, Rev. George Mrochen, Rev. Mark Duer, Rev. Walter Otten, Rev. John Moeller, and Rev. Dr. Valdas Ausra.

Pastor Mrochen is not new to the Chicago area and the Northern Illinois District. He served at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on South Racine Avenue in Chicago for 41 years, from 1976 until his retirement in 2017. Then, when St. Peter had a need for a vacancy pastor, he began serving the congregation, eventually leading to his call and installation.

We give thanks for Pastor Mrochen, and we ask that God would bless him and his wife, Ruth, in this new station.
