While this school year is still in full swing, it’s certainly not too early to begin preparing for next year. Grants are a wonderful opportunity to open the door to more opportunities for students to learn about Christ and creation.
The Meemic Educational Foundation will provide $500,000 in grants in 2018. Two of these easy-to-apply-for grants are available now.
Have a brilliant idea for next school year? Whether it be funding for a field trip or new equipment to support student learning, Meemic Education Foundation Club Members are invited to apply for the “Meemic Foundation Traditional Grant” which provides funding for up to $500 to support classroom, department, campus, or district needs.
The five-question long grant application is due March 31, 2018 and offers funding which is available between August 1, 2018 and February 1, 2019. Find it at www.Jannusik.com/Traditional.
Do you have students who love creating art? The Meemic Foundation is inviting school teachers to join them in “showcasing the artistic ability of our students while rewarding [their] classroom in the process.” Students are invited to create artwork that illustrates kindness to others, diversity, or anti-bullying themes.
The “Meemic Masterpieces Art Contest and Grant” is an opportunity for teachers to sponsor a student’s original art piece for entrance into a Student Art Contest. All winning artworks will be professionally framed and placed on permanent display at Meemic’s corporate offices. Each winning student artist will receive a Chromebook and an invitation to Meemic’s recognition ceremony. Sponsoring Foundation Club Members of winning entries will earn a $300 art supplies grant for their school.
All artwork submission should be received at Meemic’s corporate offices in Auburn Hills, Michigan by 5:00 p.m. ET Friday, March 20, 2018. More information including artwork parameters can be found at www.Jannusik.com/Masterpieces.
