On Sunday, August 20, 2023 Matthew Carlson was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry and installed as Sole Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Joliet, Illinois.
Matthew had previously served as Director of Christian Education at Christ Lutheran Church in Noblesville, Indiana and Trinity Lutheran Church in Bemidji, Minnesota. He served his vicarage at Messiah Lutheran Church in Danville, California before receiving his PCP (Pastoral Certificate Program) via alternate route through Ft. Wayne Theology Seminary.
