The Kingdom Expansion Together Fund is now ready to support LCMS Northern Illinois District ministries.
Our Lord is faithful, giving us His gift of redemption and all that we need in this life by His grace. In loving response and thanks to the faithful stewardship of NID churches and individuals, the Board of Directors has established the Kingdom Expansion Together Grant!
This grant is designed to resource ministries who are reaching new people with the Gospel. The Kingdom Expansion Together Grant can be utilized for a wide range of ministry projects from training laity in the latest in evangelism to major expansions of ministries. Over the next several years, it is hoped that this grant will allow major financial resources to be reinvested back into the churches, schools, and ministries of the LCMS Northern Illinois District.
Rev. Kristopher Whitby, Assistant to the President – Mission and Ministry, serves as lead contact for each of the District’s Mission Grants. He shared, “The Kingdom Expansion Together grant is unique among our NID grants in that it is designed to be a ‘one stop’ grant for every aspect of ministry outreach. From ‘seed’ grant proposals, which can be used to train laity on effective witnessing, to major investments in church planting and everything in between, the Kingdom Expansion Together Grant is structured to address the diverse needs of ministry in our District for years to come. May Jesus use it to His good purposes as He bears fruit among us!”
