Area Lutherans participated in last year’s March for Life Chicago near Federal Plaza.

December 2016

The Northern Illinois District (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod) Life Ministry is partnering with Lutherans for Life to join thousands of pro-life advocates gathering in the Chicago Loop on Sunday, January 15, to celebrate the sanctity of human life. A short walk around Federal Plaza will begin and end with a lineup of inspirational speakers affirming the value of life and underscoring the importance of continuing to speak out for life.

Join area Lutherans at this March for Life Chicago. Meet on Federal Plaza (50 W. Adams Street, Chicago) at 1:55 p.m. under the “Love Affirms Life” banner. Look for people wearing red Lutherans for Life hats.

Or plan to ride the bus sponsored by Northern Illinois District Life Ministry. It will leave from Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way in Lisle, promptly at 1 p.m. Free-will donations will cover costs for the round trip bus ride. The planned return time is 5:30 p.m. To reserve your seat, call Kris Blackwell at 630-234-1491. Space is limited.
