Rev, Jacob Ehrhard was installed as Sole Pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4939 W Montrose Avenue, Chicago, Sunday, January 27, 2019.
Jacob was born in Springfield, Illinois and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Grace Elementary School and Lutheran High School North in St. Louis. After several years studying engineering at Washington University St. Louis, Jacob attended Concordia University Chicago. From there, he attended Concordia Seminary, Ft. Wayne where he obtained his MDiv. in 2007.
Pastor Ehrhard served as Vicar at Good Shepherd, Sherman Illinois and Associate Pastor at Emmanuel, Dwight, Illinois and Sole Pastor at Trinity, New Haven, Missouri.
Pastor Ehrhard married Gretal (Helming) in 2005 and in 2018 they welcomed their daugher Anna Lynne Rose through adoption. Gus, their dog, is also a part of their family.
