As we invited members of the LCMS Northern Illinois District to share what is on their heart, several common themes emerged. Their requests reflect a deep desire for faithfulness to God’s Word, care for His people, and bold witness in our communities and the world.

These prayers focus on sharing Christ’s love through outreach, services, mission work, and faithful engagement with the world around us. “Let your light shine before others.” — Matthew 5:16

• Pray for the unchurched to seek God’s grace
• Pray for NID congregations to be open to the unchurched
• Pray for missions and missionaries
• Pray for bold and loving ways to give the Gospel
• Pray for the Gospel to reach those in need
• Pray for families to know Jesus

WITNESS: Encouraging personal witnessing, congregational engagement with their community, support of our NID partnerships and missions and sharing in a world mission field together.
