Deaconess Lori Trinche has joined the Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries (RLOM) team for the new Illinois location and was installed into the position of Director of Program Ministries during the North and West Pastors Conference on October 11, 2022. Trinche is not entirely new to RLOM, as she has worked on the expansion project, educating and garnering support in northern Illinois. In her new role, she will handle the human care piece of the ministry. Executive Director Sheryl DeWitt knows Trinche will help the women and the ministry flourish. “Deaconess Lori will focus on the spiritual growth and nurture with these young women. She will help them build their lives using her training as a deaconess, considering each woman as Christ considers us, with love and mercy.”

“What an amazing opportunity for Redeeming Life and the Lord’s work in Northern Illinois. We are grateful as the NID to be early in the vision to care for and disciple expectant mothers empowered by God’s Word and the Renewing work of Jesus. Deaconess Lori Trinche is a gift to the NID and now Redeeming Life. We will miss her on our staff, but she remains a partner in Gospel Ministry. What a delight to witness the generosity of people who not only want to talk, but are ready to give generously to assist for a new and better life in Christ. We look forward to what our Lord will be doing next among us to honor the gift of life. We love through Christ in action and truth.” President Allan R. Buss.

Lori joined the LCMS Northern Illinois District in May of 2016 and most recently served the District as Stewardship, Administration, and Human Care Liaison being called to that position in November of 2020.

Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries (RLOM) has operated a maternity home and also a transition home for women facing crisis pregnancies in Florida for nearly a decade, and will add a new maternity home location in 2023, in suburban Chicago, Illinois. Illinois was chosen as the first expansion site due to the need for more supportive choices for mothers choosing life in a state where abortion rates are climbing and prolife choices are limited. The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod recognizes RLOM as a service organization and has encouraged the expansion into the Chicago area and beyond. For information on RLOM visit  www.rlom.org.
