On Monday, November 1, 2021, staff at the District office met with Synod representatives to talk, plan, and celebrate life ministry initiatives taking place in the LCMS Northern Illinois District (NID).
Deaconess Tiffany Manor, Director of LCMS Life Ministry, Emma Heinz, Deaconess Intern LCMS Life Ministry, Andrea Schmeling, Writer LCMS Life Ministry, Deaconess Lori Trinche, Deaconess NID Stewardship, Administration and Human Care Liaison, and Rev. Dr. Allan Buss NID President all participated in a discussion about the positive events going on in the NID for life ministry – particularly beginning of life since this is such a current topic of importance in the state of Illinois.
The Northern Illinois District is involved with many Life Ministry mercy projects such as Breakfast with Baby, Swaddling Clothes, Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries and other NID congregational efforts that share the Word of God and bear witness to Jesus Christ. We give thanks and praise to the triune God for all that NID is doing to speak up for, care, and teach about the sanctity of human life.
