Throw, batter, batter, throw! With an 87 year legacy of Lutheran fellowship, the Lutheran Dart League is gearing up for another season of vibrant competition.

“They’re like sponges to the Word of God!” For three years, members of St. Peter’s, Morrison have met twice per week with inmates at AUSP Thomson federal penitentiary. Now, Bible study members are lights of Christ as they serve their fellow inmates.

Celebrating 125 years of ministry, St. John’s, Lombard has begun its year long festivities which include a brunch, a historic “Night at the Museum,” and a Gala Banquet.

“We are in this together.” On June 3, 2018, Rev. Allan Buss will be installed as the President of the Northern Illinois District. As we move forward together, Pastor Buss says, “we will keep the main thing the main thing.”

As we enter the final month of Rev. Gilbert’s twelve years in the President’s Office, we praise the Lord for what He has done in this district, pursue the present in the transition period, and pray for the future.
