Rosemary Sue Andermann (Link) passed away on June 16, 2024, with her family by her side. Her Lord and Savior called her home after being diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer less than five months ago.

She was born on December 6, 1955 to Charles, Sr. and Shirley Link in LaPorte, Indiana. She attended Vincennes University and continued on to receive a degree in Early Childhood Education in 1982 from Concordia River Forest (Chicago).

She married David Andermann in 1985, and they lived in Plainfield, Illinois for 12 years. In 1997, they moved to St. Peters, Missouri while David attended seminary, then they were called to serve in Sterline and Dixon, Illinois. She devoted over 30 years to teaching and molding the precious lives of preschool and kindergarten students.

She is survived by David, her husband of almost 39 years, along with two children; Benjamin (Sarah) Andermann and Heather (Jacob) Armstrong; her mother, Shirley (Tootie) Link; her grandchildren, Holly, Stephanie, and Ivory Armstrong; and a brother, Charles, Jr. (Linda) Link. She is also survived by her dear cousin, Kathy Palmer, and many more loved ones.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her father, Charles Link, and niece, Kristin Angle (Link).

Visitation will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 2035 IL Rte 26, Dixon, IL 61021. A memorial service will also be held at the church on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetary in Eureka, IL in a private ceremony.
