Elaine L. Kuh (nee Otto), age 84, of Frankfort, Illinois, formerly of Matteson, Illinois passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at home surrounded by family.
Elaine is the beloved mother of Robert Kuh, Diane Crumpley and Jonathan (Katy) Kuh. Dearest sister of Duke (Carol) Otto, JoAnne (Al) Sloan, Carol (late Ed) Denton; cherished grandmother of Grace (Allan) Mills, Hannah Crumpley, Emma Crumpley, Samuel Crumpley, Adam Kuh, Alexandra (Michael) Norris, Arron Kuh, RJ (Jessie) Kuh, Josh Craft, Haley Craft and Sarah Kuh; beloved great-grandmother of Lorelie Kuh, Keaton Kuh, Savannah Mills and Amelia Norris.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert A. Kuh; her parents Walter and Grace (nee Jaehnke) Otto; and her brother Walter (Janis) Otto.
Elaine served as a teacher at Salem Lutheran School in Blue Island and after retiring continued to do substitute teaching.
Family will receive family and friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL60423 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Lying in state at Salem Lutheran Church, 12951 S. Maple Ave., Blue Island IL 60406 on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will also take place on Friday, August 26, 2022 at North Plato Cemetery, 43w301 Plank Rd., Hampshire, IL 60140, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
