On November 3, 2024, Reverend Derek Paetow was installed as pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa, Illinois.

Pastor Paetow attended Bowling Green State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. He was a public school teacher for several years before attending Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He received a Master of Divinity degree in 2005.

He previously served as pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Muscle Shoals, Alabama from 2005-2012 and at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Lamay, Missouri from 2012-2024.
