Presentation of the Endowment Grant check to Put Your Hands Together Food Ministry based out of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hillside, Illinois

The LCMS Northern Illinois District is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2021 Endowment Grants. They are:

  • St. Paul Lutheran Church, Chicago, Illinois – Lens of Our Future around St. Paul
  • Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hillside, Illinois – Put Your Hands Together-Food Outreach Ministry
  • St. Philip Lutheran School, Chicago, Illinois – St. Philip Lutheran School Outdoor Urban Playspace (Year 1)
  • St. John’s Lutheran Church, Country Club Hills, Illinois – St. John’s Lutheran Church – Youth Program
  • Good Shepherd Christian Academy, Chicago, Illinois – Good Shepherd Christian Academy – Outreach to Early Childhood
  • Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries, Sanford, Florida – Redeeming Life Maternity Home – NID Acquisition and Remodel Project
  • Faith Lutheran Church, Oak Lawn, Illinois – Faith Community Center

Endowment Grant application requests are awarded on an annual basis for requests for programs consistent with the goals of the LCMS Northern Illinois District (NID). Grants requests are accepted from NID congregations, schools, preschools, circuits, associations, and Recognized Service Organizations that are listed in the Lutheran Annual.
