The heart of the word “enviando” and its like-named initiative is to equip, encourage, and send Hispanic missionaries to serve the Lord in northern Illinois. Many congregations have begun or will be beginning ministries to share God’s precious message of salvation with Spanish speaking members of our community.
What is Moral Injury?
What happens to a person spiritually and physically when they are witnesses of great trauma or abuse of their deeply held moral convictions? The NID life task force shares what moral injury is, what scripture says about it, and how we as a Church can stand alongside and serve those in the midst of it.
