Rev. Christopher Antonetti was installed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lockport on June 28, 2020.
Pastor Antonetti grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia College Chicago. He is an adult convert to the Lutheran Church, being confirmed at St. John’s in Chicago after college. Prior to seminary he worked as director of quality for a food ingredients company. He attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and spent vicarage at Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Basehor, Kansas. He received his call to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lockport, Illinois and graduated from seminary in the spring of 2020. Pastor Antonetti was ordained June 20, 2020 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. He is married to Karin, who has worked as a Lutheran school teacher and now stays home with their daughter.
